FAQ

What can i do to prepare for the session?

1. Feel free to exercise your pet before the session. If you do make sure it’s a good few hours before the session starts, try and avoid walks right before the session! This gives you and your pet time to regain the energy for the photoshoot.

2. You and your family may want to be in some of the pictures so be sure to wear your favourite clothes, but also be aware of the location terrain that we ultimately decide on.

3. Bring a selection of your pet's favourite toys, treats or accessories that will get their attention.

What happens after the shoot?

I take your images and turn them into wonderful pieces of art! After the session is done, I'll take the images and enhance the photographs for you. Selecting the best images, they'll be displayed on a private online gallery for you to view. Wall art completes the look and feel of a home and having a wonderful piece of art of your pet that you love so much will make you stand out.

What if my dog has to stay on a lead?

That's completely fine. With some Photoshop magic, I can make those pesky leads disappear.

My dog is black, can you still get a good image?

Absolutely! Photography is all about understanding the light you are working with and lighting the shot accordingly. I have every confidence he can get the best out of your pet no matter their colouring.

How many dogs can I bring to the session?

More the merrier! nowadays people have more than one pet. Please remember a photoshoot can sometimes be a fast-paced environment, especially with pets. I only want only the best images to be produced and your pets' safety is of the utmost importance.

What about weather?

I'm equipped to shoot in all sorts of weather conditions – so long as you and your pet are happy! The best advice is to come prepared. If it’s wet, you may want to bring an umbrella, wellies and a towel for your dog and if it’s hot, make sure you bring plenty of water. Every season and weather condition has its own lighting and creates a different dynamic look to the final image experience. However, if the weather isn’t looking great we can always reschedule.

Do you photograph other animals?

Yes. No matter how big or small, I'll take photographs of any animals. They all should have a voice!

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

To rearrange or cancel your shoot, simply contact using the many various methods. A non-refundable payment of £24.99 must be made before the shoot.
